ISKCON Bangalore commemorates a significant milestone, marking 25 years of service and blessings to the world. Over the course of its journey, ISKCON Bangalore has remained steadfast in its commitment to various charitable endeavours, striving to uplift both spiritual and social welfare alike through a diverse range of initiatives, from educational programs to humanitarian aid efforts.
Central to these endeavours are Their Lordships, who have been the heart and soul of ISKCON Bangalore since 1997. Ever since, They have been receiving the services of thousands of devotees and blessing them. Their Lordships Sri Radha Krishnachandra, Sri Krishna Balarama, Sri Nitai Gauranga, Sri Srinivasa Govinda, and Sri Prahlada Narasimha appeared on the Ashtami Tithi of the Krishna paksha on Hare Krishna Hill. To honour this divine appearance, we shall celebrate the Silver Jubilee on the Ashtami Tithi of every month.
On the above dates, the festivities begin in the evening with grand celebrations, which include Vahanotsava for the utsava Deities of Sri Radha Krishnachandra, Who will be adorned in different alankaras and carried in a Maha Pallakki around the temple premises with Harinama Sankirtana. Their Lordships shall then be offered Dolotsava Seva, during which they will be swung gently on a beautifully decorated swing, accompanied by melodious kirtans and bhajans.
