Sri Radha Krishna Temple, ISKCON Bangalore, has been organising various cultural events during its main festivals like Sri Brahmotsava, Sri Krishna Janmashtami, Vaikuntha Ekadashi and so on for the past several years. To give a fillip to these events, Sri Krishna Kalakshetra was set up four years ago, wherein not only renowned artistes perform but an opportunity is also provided to all upcoming artistes to showcase their talents at the Sangeet Seva for the pleasure of their Lordships Sri Radha Krishna Chandra and Their devotees
Regular Bhajan sevas are conducted every Friday and Saturday by various Bhajan Mandalis who have enrolled themselves to render their service. At these Bhajan sevas, mainly Haridasa krutis on Sri Krishna, His incarnations & lilas are sung. On Sunday mornings Sri Krishna Bhakti Sangeeta Sevas are arranged, where both budding as well as renowned artists render semi-classical devotional songs comprising mainly of Karnatic, Hindustani and Instrumental concerts. |
